Is booking direct safe?
Yes. Hale Mele and Hale Mele 2 are privately owned and professionally managed. All direct bookings are handled securely, and you will always communicate directly with the owner.
Do I receive access to hotel amenities?
No. These homes are privately owned and are not affiliated with the Mauna Lani resort hotels. Guests are welcome to walk through the hotel grounds and dine at their restaurants; however, hotel pools, fitness centers, and other resort amenities are reserved exclusively for registered hotel guests.
Can I use the hotel beaches?
Yes. All beaches in Hawaii are public and open to everyone. There are no private beaches on the island, including those located near resort properties.
What is included with complimentary Mauna Lani Beach Club access?
Guests receive a white plastic key card that provides gated access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club parking lot. From the parking area, it is a short walk to the beach. Beach chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A beach rental hut is also located on-site for renting additional beach equipment, and the Napua restaurant is conveniently located at the Beach Club.
